I have been interested in global health for several years. I participated on several clinical, research and supportive appointments in Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam, People Republic of China, Tanzania and Croatia. My research focus on the mechanism preventing "brain drain" from the low-income countries. I specifically study mechanisms how the transfer of knowledge occur and what are the barriers. I worked with several organization but most recently I collaborate with the Health Volunteers Overseas

Recent global health projects

I am involved in developing the deployment of AI technologies in Africa in the settings of intensive care. The second project pertains to race as a factor in disparities for care delivery

I participate in the development of ECMO program in People Republic in China. This project involves on hands training and setting up infrastructure. I am working on the project with HVO to develop intensive care ultrasound in Vietnam. I am also working with Anesthesia Toolbox, a group aiming at developing set of universal curriculum for under-served areas.
