1 a 8 5bPlease acknowledge services provided by the FGC in your publications as follows:
8 99"We thank the University of Pennsylvania Diabetes Research Center (DRC) for the use of the Functional Genomics Core (P30-DK19525)."
1 16The FGC offers regular office for consultations on bioinformatics problems or analyses. Slots must be booked ahead of time. If you have any material ready or papers relevant to your questions, it may be helpful to provide them ahead of time.
1 2a aThe Coding Club (how about a better name?) meets regularly at DAY and TIME. It is a forum for sharing progress and problems with other informatics folk in DRC. You can share your code, hear introductions on topics, ask questions, learn best practices, etc.
1 2aTalk with the community on the FGC slack workspace.
1 29The FGC maintains a page of links to resources (specification, tutorials, etc.) for standards, common techniques, and best-practices.
1 2aWe still provide full-service data analysis as time allows. Contact us to propose a project.
1 2b aThe FGC will work on purchasing and maintaining some workstations for interactive data analyses that require more memory than a typical laptop has.
1 37... more details as we progress with this.
aHere are services available at Penn that we do not provide but that you might need.
